Privacy Policy
Last updated 19 October 2026
This policy covers Shreddr for iPhone (“the app”) and this website. The short version: the app collects no data. Your photos never leave your iPhone.
The app and this website are provided by Shanghai Shuojiang Culture Media Co., Ltd. (“we”, “us”).
What the app accesses
With your permission, the app reads your photo library to show your photos and videos one at a time. Shreddr needs Full Photos Access: with Limited Access the app only sees the items you selected, and sorting pauses, though anything you have already marked and your progress stay saved. It asks for read-and-write access because deleting a photo changes your library. You can change this permission at any time in the iPhone Settings app.
What the app stores
The app saves your sorting progress on your iPhone: which items you kept or marked for deletion, where you stopped, your settings, and simple totals of what you deleted. It stores the photo library’s own item identifiers, never copies of your photos or videos. The app never sends this anywhere. Like other app data, it can be included in your iPhone’s own backups to iCloud or a computer, which Apple handles under its own privacy policy.
Deleting photos
Swiping never deletes anything. Items you mark wait in Review until you tap Delete there, and then iOS itself asks you to confirm. Deleted items go to the Recently Deleted album in the Photos app, as usual, where you can recover them for about 30 days.
What the app does not do
- No accounts or sign-in.
- No advertising.
- No analytics and no tracking.
- No servers: the app does not upload, share or sell any data.
- No third-party code, such as advertising or analytics libraries.
The app collects no data. We never see your photos, your library or how you use the app.
Removing your data
Deleting the app removes everything it saved on your iPhone. Copies in earlier iPhone backups stay until those backups are replaced or deleted.

If you email us
If you write to us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include. We use it only to answer you, and we do not share it. Please do not send photos or other personal information we do not need.
Children
The app collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If the app ever starts handling data differently, we will update this page and the date above before that version is released.
